Exhibitions

There are two opportunities for you to exhibit your work via the Society. We have an annual exhibition held in Bath and a permanent exhibition at the Royal United Hospital.

Annual Exhibition
You can submit printed or digital images (DPI) to the Annual Exhibition. This is currently held in April at St Michaels Church on Broad Street, and lasts Monday-Saturday. There is a private view on the Monday, which is treated as our club night for that week. Prints are for sale, with 20% of the proceeds going to the church. We recommend a sale price of £50.
Prints may be colour or monochrome, landscape or portrait and mounted on 40cm x 50cm board with whatever aperture suits the image. Mounts should be white, cream or black and you can submit entries via our PhotoEntry system.
DPI entries may be colour or monochrome in jpeg format, sized to a maximum of 1200 x 1600 or1200 x 1200 if square.
Full details will be in the newsletter in the months leading up to the exhibition. We ask for help from members both to set up and take down the stands and to steward during the exhibition.

RUH Permanent Exhibition
The Royal United Hospital allows us to display approximately 30 photographs in the consultants’ corridor of the Dyson Cancer Centre. Patients, sta􀆯 and visitors all appreciate the interest added to hospital. We change the exhibition annually and encourage all members to submit 2-3 mounted prints. These are o􀆯ered for sale (the recommended price is currently £45), with 15% of the sale price donated to the Art Programme of the RUH.
